Hildasholmsmusiken
A tribute to the music and community in Leksand’s heart
Hildasholm Music is an annual music festival held at the beautiful Hildasholm estate and in the churches around Leksand. This festival, a passion project for Adam Munthe and Munthes Hildasholm, boasts an exciting program reflecting the diversity and breadth of the music world, designed to engage and inspire the local community of Leksand.
Adam Munthe and Munthes Hildasholm are committed to creating a platform where established musicians can explore new collaborations and share their knowledge and experiences. By welcoming young musical talents, we hope Hildasholm Music will serve as a bridge between generations and traditions, bringing our community together through the love of music.
Hildasholmsstämman
Hildasholm Music kicks off with the folk music day “Hildasholm Gathering” – a day filled with activities and music. Here, young and old, musicians and listeners meet in the beautiful garden environment at Hildasholm in Leksand.
School Project
Hildasholm Music also builds a close collaboration with local elementary and high schools throughout the year to offer children additional opportunities to engage in music through fun, curriculum-complementary workshops for free.
During Hildasholm Music, we collaborate with the Municipality of Leksand and the school project “Skapande skola” This project is initiated by the Swedish Arts Council to promote creative meetings between artists and students.
It was a beautiful and classic musical journey I met when visiting the festival Hildasholmsmusiken in Leksand. I will definitly return.
